Sunshine is the seemingly all-powerful hyperactive occasionally volatile mascot of a corrupt corporation I have creatively named "The Company."

Sunshine does trapeze at a circus, that's how it all started, she's made a career out of stunts and fights. Originally the circus (which I've creatively named The Circus) was quite small... just Sunshine and a couple other people doing performances. Then something approached them with a deal. Sunshine agreed on behalf of herself and her coworkers without permission, it was impulsive, it was stupid, Sunshine knew better, but she did it.

Sunshine didn't read any of the contract. Now they have large scale performances, new coworkers they get to perform with. And now they don't get paid and her friends are expected to work as efficiently as Sunshine does, and Sunshine can duplicate herself. So it's pretty difficult for Sunshine's coworkers, but Sunshine's completely fine.

Sunshine... technically would have the power to just... snap her fingers and erase The Company off the map... if you asked her why she doesn't just do that... she would tell you it's a good question and immediately move on.

Sunshine can't stay still, she never stops and is either unintentionally ignorant or deliberately ignorant towards her friends' suffering. It's either she doesn't know how to help, or she doesn't want to for whatever reasons.

Sunshine has the power to change her appearance and practically any other physical trait at will. Sunshine doesn't really do shapeshifting but she could. It makes maintaining an image very easy, unless Sunshine is actively sabotaging it, which she does sometimes.

Sunshine can make as many of herself as she wants, she has one mind. But she can split that same mind across however many bodies she wants to create, allowing her to be all around the world, she can be working, fighting and partying all at the same time, and you won't know. Sunshine knows, she sees through all her eyes at once, she just pretends not to.
