On the edge of the habitable zone, farthest from the sun among its neighbors, life here can be defined by one word: tenacity. The inhospitable climate of cold and dark Zharis does not welcome the development of any kind of living being, yet it has persisted and found its womb in the deep underground caverns heated by the rocky planet's core.
The tortuous origin ensured that only the strongest and most resilient species could develop. Soon, intelligent societies emerged and, accustomed to working together and finding solutions to ensure their survival in the midst of scarcity, created a strong sense of collectivism, soon discovering they could find their salvation in the mineral resources of the underground. Using them as fuel, the Zharians were able to create new sources of heat and began to conquer more and more ground until reaching the surface.
With the Dawn of Navigations, Zharis was finally able to make up for its lack of resources. In exchange for the construction of many docks in their territory, filled by a large fleet of the most supposedly advanced spaceships available, the planet opened its borders to Xomianite industries, which found the hard workers Zharians a perfect fit to labor on manufacturing their products (and reducing costs).
With the means of transportation in their hands, Zharis established new trade routes and found in the abundant Ybeyiá its greatest trading partner, allowing it to overcome its main drawback: food shortages.
Zharis then saw an exponential increase in its population and, consequently, in its workforce, establishing itself as the main factory of the solar system. And so their ambition has begun.
With full access to the know-how and production methods of the most varied and up-to-date Xomianite technology, the Zharians have secretly started feeding their own underground factories, developing and improving their own warfare and naval technology in order to take XOM-475f place as the technological monopoly of the solar system.
