Luminara is a neutral good paladin aasimar. They were once an angel in training to be a watchful eye over mortals. But she once got attached to a particular mortal.

When the mortal died, Luminara stood between the two planes. Heaven told her to let go but she didn’t, leading to her fall.

The soul of the mortal followed her; not a ghost, not alive. A lingering spirit. Luminara now uses Lumi as a mortal name. Maybe one day, she’d earn her wings back
