The main character of So Distant.

Naoyuki's parents disappeared when he was eight years old. As a result, he's very insecure and has developed a type of avoidant personality disorder. He clings to people he trusts and pushes others away, even going so far as refusing to speak and opting to communicate with sign language and charades instead.
