More info about the hero:

Light manipulation (maybe color manipulation as well?) uses this to confuse opponents and blind them. Trains to be strong in combat, and is working to find out what all he can do with his abilities.
Mask is actually electronic, and automatically adjust the sight for extreme dark and extreme light (due to his abilities).
