Born a member of the Lucis Caelum bloodline with no knowledge of being a part or ever living the lifestyle. Grew up on a chocobo farm until the Darkness came, and brigands hired by a man that his father put in prison destroyed everything and everyone that he loved.

Taking on hunting at a young age to survive, Caius spent years keeping to himself and hunting daemons for gil. On the eve of the assault on Insomnia, Caius came to the city and was made Kingsglaive by the Chosen King. Not knowing the act had awakened his abilities instead of lending them.

Caius helped pave the way for Eos to be saved by the True King, and after two years of service sacrificed his life to ensure Lucis would continue to prosper.
