A noble families only daughter, Vexana's mother died when she was about 10. Vexana didn't spend much time with her mother since the woman was often away on adventures, but was attached to her hip whenever she did come home. Usually with gifts and amazing stories. Vexana was raised on the tales her mother told her and dreamed of becoming as strong.

Though her father, Vezador, didn't want to fill Vexana's head with such things given it was how he lost his wife. Naturally, the tales dwindled once her mother passed. But Vezador did his best as a father and him and Vexana were just as close. Vexana adores her father.

Because of her mothers death, Vezador became fiercely protective of Vexana. He never moved on from his late wife so Vexana was the only thing he really cared for. It was overbearing at times, Vexana was hardly allowed to leave home without a bodyguard, but Vex knew her father just wished to keep her safe. And in a way, it was comforting.
