Key is called Key because she was born to be a sacrifice to open some big magic door as a Part of some prophecy, Key was born for the purpose of dying, but that purpose never came to be. She was supposed to be recruited by a hero on a quest to Take Down a Dark Mage, But the Hero Never came, And the Mage Never Appeared, The Remnants of the prophecy are left as dusty inscriptions on the walls of The Castle Ruins where Key was abandoned and left alone in for the first ten years of her life, all spent wasting away, alone on a small treasure horde, waiting for a hero that would never come, waiting for someone to pick her up and take her to die, not that she wanted to, just because that's what she was born for... A goblin found her, an unusually civilized one, that took Key in and raised her properly for the rest of her childhood, Key is incredibly cheerful, and loves her friends and new family, but memories of the Castle Ruins still haunt her occasionally, Key loves fast food, gold and is very naïve and optimistic.
