Elfedire is one of the many unicorns that guards the source of Avavish magic in the magical forest. She is a low-ranking unicorn, but her natural radiance is enough to banish all evil creatures from presence. Her sister, Ayla is a higher rank, a Unicorn Knight. They were separated when the Ion overtook the Sol and spread darkness across the land. Though Unicorns are tied to the Lun and harness their power through her, they still need the Sol to survive. While separated from Ayla, hunters cornered Elfedire and injured her leg, allowing them to tear the horn from her head and with that, her Unicorn form. When Unicorns lose their horns, they cannot maintain their equine form and are forced to live the rest of their days as mere humans. If they survive, which is rare, they may still be able to harness their previous powers, such as Elfedire. She still remembers how to shield the innocent and weak from evil and she follows Soleil to continue her purpose doing such.
