My weird little dude!! They are the main character of an urban fantasy/queer paranormal romance novel I want to write someday maybe. Currently they just are an OC I infodump about lol

Long story short, Galen (pronouns are he/they) is a lone werewolf on the run from their abusive former pack. They are now hiding in a small town in the Midwest, trying to live as normal of a life as possible. They recently discovered they can cast plant and healing magic, and currently work as an apprentice to the mysterious healer, Arthur. They are obsessed with plants and birds, and have developed a houseplant hoarding habit.

Personality-wise, they were literally raised by wolves so they are very reserved and shy, and have a poor understanding of social norms. As a result they rarely speak unless they are around close friends, and are prickly, overly blunt and awkward. To others, they come across as just a very socially awkward nerd until they do some feral animal behavior like eat a dead animal in the middle of the kitchen. However once they warm up to someone, they are a real cinnamon roll. They have a strong sense of justice and a whole lot of curiosity, and it often gets in the way of keeping their head down.
