A thief turned bounty hunter, & amongst the best around; regardless of which occupation, & despite his own issues. Started from poor beginnings & grew up in a violent gang of thieves, but eventually chose to abandon said gang to try to lead a more righteous life after a particular incident that resulted in an injury to his knee that's left him having to use a cane thanks to struggling to walk at times. Uses his magic ability & the skills he learned growing up as a bandit to aid him in his bounty hunting career, finding them surprisingly useful as they aided him in quickly growing his reputation & taking down criminals without much issue. Chose to be a bounty hunter specifically so he can hunt down people like those in his old gang, the very same gang he eventually takes down as well.

Grew up alongside Yisui, childhood best friends; unfortunately, they had a falling out shortly before Jin Zhu left, after the very same incident that left the two of them with permanent lasting injuries. When Jin Zhu sought to destroy the gang they grew up in, he'd initially planned on apprehending Yisui too; when he discovered she wasn't around, he set out to hunt her down, believing her to still be affiliated with the gang & wanting to apprehend every last member of the cruel troublemakers that had caused so much suffering for people over the years.

Jin Zhu is a chill although slightly mischievous fellow that likes to tease people. Doing his best to do enough good to make up for past crimes; despite being chill usually though, he has no chill when money is involved, being a perpetually money-hungry man out of habit. Because of his upbringing, & not wanting to end up in such poor conditions ever again, Jin Zhu is always looking for ways to make money, & is incredibly stingy, living frugally aside from the very rare times he decides to treat himself; he's practically rich by this point because of this & all the bounty hunting he does, yet he refuses to spend more than necessary.
