A runaway who got lost in a deep, dark forest.

He had lost all hope, up until he happened upon a lonely old manor. He was saved from starvation and the wrath of the elements, but now he's being forced to say by strange people who say strange things.

He doesn't understand what's going on and harbors doubts about their motives, but he knows one thing: he wants to get out of there.
