Gary is a 17-year old Inkling, with the natural red ink stemming from a genetic oddity. He’s a very well-meaning person and would do anything for a friend, but his social awkwardness/anxiety has left him with a constant sense of self-doubt, and he’s generally cautious and is very much “look before you leap”. He’s also prone to panic at times. Despite this, he tries to maintain an optimistic view and still likes having fun as any Inkling would - He LOVES video games.

In addition to standard Inkling abilities, he also possesses a sonic scream, which he hasn’t quite mastered yet. It can leave a strain on his throat if overused. In addition, he also wields an N-Zap ‘89.
