James Stoliar, often nicknamed “Jamie” is a child of a rich lineage of jewellers, and is a jeweller himself. In public, he is an arrogant, bratty playboy. But there is another side to him not many know personally — to satisfy his kleptomaniac tendencies, Jamie made a new person for himself, an uncathable, cunning thief known as Magpie.

Jamie‘s parents never told him “no”. When he wanted something, he got it the same instant. In turn, he grew up believing that he can just take whatever he wants, and that the world spins around him and his needs. He got quickly proven wrong when he tried to take what wasn’t his, and got punished.

Jamie couldn’t bear to face the guilt he fell for stealing, and dealt with his creeping kleptomania in another way. Donning on a costume of a corvid, he now swoops around the city’s museums, jewellery shops, and banks, just to satisfy his greedy needs.
