Hiraeth- in Welsh it means a homesickness or longing for a home that may no longer exist or perhaps never did.
Across all the kingdoms the Raven has many titles: Deathslayer, The Angel of Death, Unbroken Blade, One Who Comes from Darkness (to name a few). Each of them have been earned from the people and carry a story.
He is the single most dangerous man across the lands: not even kings can stand in his way since he has the strength and will to do as he pleases even if often it shall be difficult, even if it shall land him in hot waters. Which is why many seek him out and try to acquire him either through hefty promises or coercion, since it is said that the sword of The Raven can make a god- a peasant, a peasant- a king, and a king- a god. But nothing can buy him: neither threats, nor gold, nor lands.
He doesn't come from royalty, even though his black armour and sword are of the highest craftsmanship previously unseen. Not much is known about him besides the fact that he comes from the Far Black Castle- a dreadful place.
His personality is intimidating, cold and prickly yet with piercing eyes stirring with ancient anger.
He wears a cloak made of the black feathers of a Harbinger of Sephtis (a deadly, feared harpy-like creature now extinct)- a token of his skill and capability.
Yet what is not known, what fuels and festers his rage and coldness- is the fact that he himself is the last Harbinger of Sephtis (harbinger of "Eternal Death"). Roaming the lands, defeating beasts, discerning truth from lies, and killing the scum festering in the kingdoms while aiding the wronged. All while carrying the rage of a whole destroyed species with a sliver of raw longing, a deep ache under his heart for a home lost forever.
Is known to interfere in royal and kingly business. Despises lies: has the ability to tell lies from truth.
