Originary of Dazaifu, from childhood Akemi was grew up as a indipendent person because of her parents that was absent due to employment, but still she having inherited a strong personality as her mother Yukari (and some physical strength from her) but with very tricky traits and a love for the arts, unfortunately she have also inherited the unusual birthmarks of her family, that are similar to feline vibrissae on her checks and were seen as a lucky charm by generations in her maternal family, sadly that don't stop the other children bullying her, comparing her as a beast, like the feline (that she adore).
But even with this, her parents supported her, Akemi's father let grown his moustache as a little gentle way for make her feel better.

Despite that, her teenage years was turbulent and does not always meet the understanding from others for being grown as a rebel personality, but at least she meet her best friend, Fujiwara Fumiko, a little lonely punk and hothead from the music club of the school, and then find a new friend in a meek exchange student, Mel Rosenqvist from Netherlands, and together they founded the band of the Unchained Beasts, with Akemi as the bassist.

With her two best friends she grown as a woman with many possibility to see the world around her, develop her artistic abilities and form new bonds, like knowing her future husband, Walter Wyss, an very eccentric man and future father of her two daughters, Ivy and Katsumi Wyss.

Now she lives in Switzerland, in Bern, with her family and she works as a web designer, artists on commission and sometimes a content creator, expecially with her friend Fumiko with the evolution of Internet.
