(Created in Spring of 2023) Chai, one of many neskqi's, is a humanoid creature that lives within the human mind. Despite her friendly appearance within the unconscious mind creating realities in dreams, she is alike to what humans refer to as a "Sleep Paralysis Demon". From human eyes she looks like a shadowy monster lurking for prey although a Neskqi's job is quite the opposite. They were created as a mental guide for struggling humans and only can contact their human host in dreams. Her species does not age and has existed for as long as the human race has been alive. In a neuron network, they can gather from different minds. Nesqi's were created to be apathetic in order to withstand each  emotional experience from a human, any who question this or feel pity are dealt with by the elders. Their existence either to nothingness or agony knits itself together into a true mental demon. Chai, unlike the others was gifted emotion. A blessing and a curse. (Heavy work in progress story!) She is the main protagonist for an unnamed story I have been very slowly writing.
