Devani Branson

Along the roads of Main Street, you'll come across a very special post office. The sign reads The Raven's Epistle. A fitting name, you decide, as you see a misfortune of ravens flying in and out through many of the doors and windows with an amalgamation of different letters and packages. Everyone in town knows this place, and not just because it's the only post office in town.

The owner, Devani Branson is an elegant, mysterious woman always dowsed in dark colors and ravens. She lives in a dark manor surrounded by lush forests on the outskirts of town with her dear husband. She also houses a child of mysterious past. No one knows quite where he came from.

She simply showed up one day in her late-teen years. It was said that she came from a wealthy family of a neighboring town, but no one knows much else of her past. She has a mystical connection with ravens, often considering them her closest friends. In her early adult years, she married her husband Edgar Branson and opened her own post office.

She has no biological children as of yet, but she has no need. She already cares for a child. One day, she found a small boy in the woods and took him under her metaphorical wing. She named him Corbin, and loves him more than any shiny object she could ever own.

Despite her dark exterior, Madame Raven (as some call her) is beloved by many of the townsfolk. She is kind and selfless, always striving to help other for small prices. As such, she runs The Raven's Epistle, where mail is gathered and delivered by ravens for a fee of a few coins. She is known to also be bribed with shiny objects.
