For years it was belived that Jilian was the last amazon, it's been about a year since Alex's amazon past was revealed, and now a new woman arrived in New York, looking for the long dead Hamato Yoshi.

As it turns out the Hamato clan has a longer history with amazons than the newer generations thought.

Miwa on the other hand wants nothing more than find her family after half a century of forced hybernation by the krang, who deemed her too dangerous to risk harvesting her amazon dna.

To her dismay however, now the Hamato clan is just her son's adopdet children and nothing more.

Now she took it upon herself to better train Jilian and Alex using their amazon powers, teach the remains of the clan what Splinther couldn't, and continue the search for her third child, Fumiko, whom she still hopes is alive somewhere.
