A former Killer-for-Hire, Dex is an irritable and grouchy ex-hitman forced into a life of murder and crime due to a very long series of unfortunate events. Being incredibly reclusive, unfriendly, and aloof; he's extremely distrusting and closed off towards those around him. As a result, he’s not one to trust easily and definitely not the sort of person who likes to get close to people.

Though he can easily come off as a bit of a jerk at first, he's really not that bad once you get to know him. Usually mellowing out and opening up a bit more, albeit still maintaining a good distance, once comfortable.

The truth is, Dex is a broken man with a fear of trusting people; having only ever wanted a stable, functioning life. As an unfortunate result of his upbringing in a criminal environment, he suffers from exceptionally poor social skills, extreme trust issues, and an incredibly weak understanding of societal norms. While it’s far too late to salvage all he’s lost, maybe there’s still hope for him to at least have a somewhat normal life?
