He’s just a silly guy who escaped from space prison.

He was born on one of saturns smaller moons with semi-sentient mouths on his chest, head, and torso. When closed, they turn into scar lines to be hidden easier. Sometimes they act without him wanting to, which landed him in max security space prison after a mauling incident in a bar (he accidentally severed his partner in half). Though he was technically innocent, he spent some of the earlier years of his life there before escaping at the (human) age of 24 (his species matures faster than humans).
