Lunardi is a shape shifter who is also a hunter, living in my AU of Edo Period Japan.

Lunardi grew up in quite a prosperous village with his parents and his little sister, Taiga. However, Lunardi and his sister would lose both their parents to a bear attack pretty early on in both their lives. This event was the catalyst for Lunardi becoming a hunter (aka beast slayer, according to Lunardi)

Thankfully, their village helped out a lot when the two were growing up. This made it so the two weren't alone. However, things definitely weren't easy, even with the villagers helping as much as they could.

Lunardi has had the idea to be a part of the hunter organization ever since he learned about them. But has never managed to pass the entry test that the organization hosts every year.

Until this year, when he finally managed to pass, barely, but still. After passing and being accepted into the organization, Lunardi gets his first hunting mission. But he is hesitant, as this will be the first time he’ll be leaving the village for so long. Taiga eventually gets him to leave, to “chase his dreams”.

Lunardi finds that he is a natural when it comes to hunting, and his missions go smoothly. It's not until his 8th mission that things go wrong and Lunardi gets injured badly. Thankfully, he comes across a village and yells for help.

It's then that he meets Arashi, a quiet but oddly caring Kitsuné. Arashi patches him up, fully expecting Lunardi to leave after he is healed. But when it comes to that point, Lunardi just doesn’t. Though that's probably due to the two having become closer during Lunardi’s recovery.
