A young angel striving to make a name for herself, Elelel works under archangel Uriel in the secret police. Not the best position to get recognized, but it allows her to get glimpses into many aspects of Heaven.
Currently, she's paired up with the old guardian angel Sarael to investigate a possibly corrupt general under archangel Michael's order. There, she poses as a young recruit in the army, which serves the double-purpose that every secret police angel needs actual military training. Sarael knows both about Elelel's secret and open mission and acts as a guide in the military ways - as well as a glimpse into Heaven's traditions. Many events that are only stories to Elelel, Sarael has actually lived through - others, the guardian angel has heard of but was absent, so the two learn about them together. Slowly, a friendship is formed.
