Hey, it’s December, which means it’s time for DNDcember! Long story short: one day, one drawing about D&D, with some dice rolls to spice things up. But, because I’m me, there’s also a bit of Pokemon with Pokecember thrown in for good measure.

Today’s Pokecember theme was 4: Gym Leader, and my D&D class roll landed on Monk...

I could’ve drawn a Gym Leader with a D&D twist, but I’m more in a Mystery Dungeon vibe. So, I chose a Gym Leader’s Pokémon—none other than Korrina’s Mega Lucario from Kalos.

Not gonna lie, Lucario already has a strong Monk/Fighter aesthetic.

That said, imagining a Lucario as a Mage, Bard, or something similar would have been challenging—but also pretty fun!
