Alijah is an enchanted and life-size porcelain ball-jointed doll that occupies the library of Belcourt Manor. His job was to be a study companion to the Maestro, helping him and her learn more about magic, the history of the world they once lived in, the world they now live in and to keep a record of all of the Maestro's books and documents, the Maestro being the one who lovingly crafted him before she teleported the mansion to Earth and disappeared without explanation. He now continues to bury himself in the library's vast assortment of tomes and documents, hoping to uncover some of the mysteries the Maestro left unanswered, and also hoping to find the key to the wooden box under the bed in the master bedroom. The maestro said it was imperative that he learn all he can about magic even though he and the other dolls cannot use it, but she disappeared before she could tell him why.
