Kamali is the previous ruler of Kamahi, her home planet, and the current ruler of Otherearth. Following the Kamahian War, resulting in the complete obliteration of her home planet, she organised a mass migration of her people to an, at that time, unnamed planet to which they could be safe.

Upon taking control over the planet and naming it “Otherearth” as a result of its earth-like environment, Kamali and her people set to work on building a civilisation on the planet which proved to be a massive success - with the Otherearthian and Kamahian beings collaborating together to help keep everyone thriving and making peace.
