“A trickster? No no no, haha! ‘Trickster’ implies a prank. A lighthearted jest. I don’t joke when I say I will beat you to death.”

He has been known by many names. "The Dreaded," "The Black Devil," "The One Behind Your Mind," "Monarch of Evil," etc. However, one name has prevailed above them all: Diabolus.

Over centuries, details have become scarce on who he is, becoming a bit of a Boogeyman within the hearts and minds of those in the realms, personified as the shadow on the corner of your eye and the bump in the night.

These stories are true. And so much more.

Diabolus is a nefarious villain that has a gratuitous amount of blood on his hands throughout the years he was around. He is the most dangerous black magician in the realms, jack of all trades in the Arcanas, and the last known living telepath. His astonishing psychic prowess combined with his expert illusions make him a frighteningly dangerous opponent.

Even without his magic, he's dangerous. With a silver tongue and acting skills, he can be very persuasive without having to cast a single spell. His promises of a better world, destroying all that is hated, were enough to sway fools and even some of the noblest heroes to his cause.

Luckily, he disappeared thousands of years ago, never to return.
