Cabella used to be a fair Princess of a land she doesn't talk about much, as it's been erased from her Dark World and her own memory. A strange man would notice this and give her the shadow crystal one day... only to find herself the next day locked in a tower. Her hair began to grow, reacting from the Shadow Crystal's power. Now she has to cut it a lot to make it look good. The tower imprisons her from the desolate lands of her former kingdom, being erased of all life, forced to watch the rest of her Dark World be torn apart by the Mayor of Hometown (Noelle's mother)'s no-nonsense attitude to protect Noelle, of which she couldn't do due to being overworked & negelcting her as a result. Cabella's insanity grew each passing day, waiting for a knight in shining armour that never came...

When Kris meets her, she is estatic and wants them to free her. After getting into the Fun Gang, she tags along until the end, literally, as at the end, she tries to steal the Fountain for herself and reign the world again, despite the fact that this would disturb the Light & Dark Balence. But hey... one more Dark Fountain isn't a DEADLY thing, is it not???....

After she gets enraged enough by Kris, Ralsei & Susie trying to seal the fountain, she undergoes a form change from the full force of the Shadow Crystal, becoming Distress Cabellia. Before they can do anything, Cabella grabs Susie & Ralsei and forces Kris to fight alone, with sharp hairs around their forehead, making them take damage every second. She attacls with her hair hands, basic stick people she draws as servents, lances & swords, and in her final segment of her full screen freakout, a blast of darkness and hate that's been sealed away for so many years...

After the fight, she lets in, crying about how nothing matters anymore. From the journey, Susie learns to be nice and ensures Cabella that everything will get better for her once all the Dark Fountains will be sealed, and she'll even be a Paladin under Ralsei's reign
