Rylan is one of the main protagonists in my series Midnight Hour. He is also a member of CYCLONE, a villain group centered on mayhem, chaos, and giving back to people who need it. (think Robin Hood, but just more chaotic with explosives.)

When not being a menace to society via committing various crimes as his villain persona, Crimson, the bringer of blood. Rylan can be found at his (mostly) day job at Bandits (a bar), tinkering away/ fixing things, helping plan CYCLONE’s next job, feeding the stray cats, watching or reading anything horror related, hoarding all the brown rice (he has an obsession), being chronically online (to a degree), hacking , and just generally hanging out with the other members of CYCLONE when he has free time.

When it comes to villainy, Rylan is one who stays within the shadows. He works behind the scenes and is the sneakest. Though he still likes to make appearances, and when he does it's “go big or go home” (like exploding a whole power facility). But he much prefers to stay in the shadows. This generally makes him one of the more mysterious members of the group, and one that the police and public don’t really know much about other than the fact that he is the hacker of the group. (Because of this fact no one but CYCLONE knows what Rylan’s magic is. (Techomancy and Electromancy)) (Also he is the trap master!)

In terms of his position within the group, Rylan would definitely fall under the “emo/goth son who you just have to put up with”. The others tease Rylan about being emo/goth often (but not in a negative way!).

Rylan is also known to have really bad social anxiety which would probably explain his love of being in the shadows. Because of this Zephyra has been appointed his hand holding buddy, because Rylan also gets lost really easily even though he has access to maps. Well it's more like directions just don’t agree with him whenever he is trying to get somewhere, hence why Zephyra has to be constantly monitoring him.
