Biancow used to be a vigilante enacting her misunderstanding of Karma by commiting countless crimes, such as murder, aswell as countless acts of service. One day she gets caught and her identity as „Karma“ is revealed to the whole town and her wife Lesow, captain of the city guard, who had been trying to catch her for years.

Although shocked after learning the truth, Lesow ignores her ideals and uses her influence to protect her from the death penalty.
Due to the severity of Biancow’s crimes, she gets banished to the desert

Even though Biancow tried to convince her to not give up her life, Lesow follows her into banishment, where they found the Sioy settlement, a safe heaven for former criminals of the desert, where they try to redeem themselves under the protection of their founders.
