BACKGROUND
Guy grew up with his uncle. One day he came to work with him and met his uncle's best friend/coworker's goddaughter, June. The two of them became fast friends and bonding over their shared interest in the heroic history of the city. One day the two of them accidentally discovered that Guy's uncle used to be the hero, The Golden Guard. The pestered him for a long while before he finally agreed to train them. When they were ready, Guy took the name The Silver Guard to honor his uncle but planned to one day earn the mantle of The Golden Guard. The two of them became Squireton's new heroic duo. One day some lost evidence from an old cold case came up that didn't look to good for his uncle who was (falsely?) arrested for murder. Guy swore to bring the truth to light and prove his uncle's innocence. Years past by and he found nothing, he felt hopeless and decided to retire from the hero life hoping to find happiness again if he were to live a normal life.

Guy went to college but wasn't there for very long. He visited his consoler weekly so Guy never expected that he would be the one to drug him and bring him to Goodman Labs' secret underground human experimentation center. Guy was initially intended to be a regular subject but upon further research the doctors found out his heroic identity and decided to make him a weapon for their cause. They brainwashed him into being a loyal soldier, who knew that would all fall apart after being hit with thew intense emotions that came when he "killed" his former partner and best friend.
