"Don't sweat it! The Cap won't notice!" - Rei

On the surface, Rei likes to present himself as calm and composed. He's a bit of a schemer and finds it easy to come up with a quick lie. He prefers to talk his way out of trouble, rather than fighting.
He has a habit of being impatient, always waiting for something to happen. So he usually entertains himself by making things happen, whether it be something beneficial or just some practical joke.

Rei is the pilot and navigator of The Nautilus research vessel. He is the main person in charge of guiding and keeping the ship on track.

Rei lived the life of a former starship racer, as well as a repeat ex-convict. He was arrested twice for black market operations and smuggling contraband.
After his mother fell ill, he believed he had to do what he could in order to pay for her increasingly expensive procedures.
He served both of his sentences, and was even granted the opportunity to do community service due to good behavior.
Due to his history, his racing days are over. He is not allowed to come back.
Now that he's out, he's doing the best he can. However, it's hard not to fall back on old habits.
