Margaret was born to Allison and Florence Hollis. As a small child, her father was killed in a duel, and for the rest of her childhood and teenage years followed her as a ghost until she banished him for an incident. (1889)

Margaret was an amateur writer as a teenager and became successful in her adulthood for her novels that were some of the earlier examples of the horror genre (1900s)

She met her future husband Tristan when they were 16 (1888) and he opened up a whole new world to her- as she had been very sheltered by her mother (who had been traumatized by Allison's death) and homeschooled after being bullied at several schools for taking to "herself."

Margaret went on to have twin boys named Damon and Todd, Damon the brainy one and Todd the brawn.

In her later years she enjoyed her many grandchildren and her comfortable lifestyle funded by her successful writing career and Tristan's equally successful music.

Margaret passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 99 in 1971.
