Thunder Bird, also known simply as, "Birdie" is one of the many gods of lightning that exist on earth. He specifically resides in New York City, living in a beautiful house built in the clouds that lies in the stratosphere between heaven and earth. His house, as well as his powers were inherited from his father, Shangó, the African god of lightning, who entrusted Birdie with his godly duties for America specifically during the Industrial Revolution of the 1950's. This was considered to be the start of the new age of technology, of which electricity would become foundational to American culture and society. As a god, Birdie's primary job is to control weather patterns that come in from the west pacific ocean and carry them all the way to the east. His strength allows him to push and pull clouds at will and deliver rainstorms, conducting lightning storms and thunder as well. He is a confident, outgoing guy who absolutely adores music and has dedicated much of life to it, specifically his band, of which he lovingly titled "Reheavent", a play on word of reinvent and heaven. He is a talented singer and bass guitarist but can play a multitude of other instruments as well, such as the piano and saxophone. During his plights as a god, he will often bring his guitar and an amp with him and rip out intense guitar riffs, channeling lightning and thunder through the music he plays. He generates a substantial amount of electricity within his body and tends to carry around lots of batteries, wires, and metal pieces to help him better conduct it. A staple of these are his silver guitar pick rings that he wears on his fingers. He's a super cool, chill dude who is quite the social butterfly, great at reading people and connecting with others. He is, however, a bit egotistical, loud, and at times reckless, which unfortunately has earned him very little favor with other gods, specifically Judge (God himself). Birdie is a free spirit and lives for himself, he does what he wants!
