Thalia is the main character of the story I'm working on with my friend! She's basically grown up as her mother's prodigy and has been tasked with "carrying on the family legacy" because she shares her mother's fire powers. Thalia sees her mother as almost a god, and is obsessed with impressing her and making her happy. Thalia has been training for her Hunt (tradition in Aspen family where on their 20th birthday the family member has to go out and kill a Forbidden, which are basically mutated monster people) from the moment she could walk, and she is determined to set a higher bar for herself than even her mother can.
