ok his lore and traits genuinely need to be updated
He got a little bit of a redesign! This is the first character I posted to Unvale. I should draw him more but every time I do I throw my tablet into a volcano and snap my Apple Pencil in half

Dri isn’t from Earth. He isn’t even really a cryptid. He shouldn’t even be on Earth. But the council has decided to let him dream and concocted a rather morally gray plan to return him to where he came from.

This is one of my newest OCs! As my first post, this is more to introduce you to my art style and how I design characters, so this character hasn’t really been developed yet. This is the protagonist in a really vague story idea that I’m building on about a society of cryptids and monsters living beneath the surface of the earth. I don’t have much more than that for now, but hopefully this website can help me sort this all out…
Here’s what I have so far for the backstory:
Dri was found as a child during a forest fire, and happened to be near the current entrance to the Bureau of Cryptids (I say current because the entrance moves periodically from forest to forest). When the Watcher of the Bureau saw him, it notified a rescue team. The rescue team later reported that Dri had been surrounded by flames, but had somehow remained unhurt. It looked like the fire wasn’t able to come near him, and he even seemed to be playing with it somehow. They came to the conclusion that he must have some sort of power over fire, but ever since, despite his fascination of it, he hasn’t been able to control it in any sort of way.
Because of his disregard for rules and orders, he tends to accidentally get himself into dangerous situations.

thinking about the time he got featured on a uv article with the tag #Monster but right next to that tag was #wouldyoueatastyrofoamblockforamillionbucks. I don’t know why I put that there but now that I think about it he’d probably do that for free
