Snapshot’s life could easily be summed up as a string of bad luck. Despite being forged in promising conditions and with a jet alt-mode, he soon ended up down on his luck and trapped in the Dead End. When the war originally broke out, he eagerly joined the Decepticons, abandoning his closest friend Pinwheel, in the hopes she would be able to avoid the fighting overall.
But Snapshot soon became disillusioned with the cause after he saw the brutality his side was capable of, defecting to the Autobots in the hope he’d made the right decision this time.

As a space-worthy scout, Snapshot and his Mini-Con Conure spend most of their time alone - his temporary placements on Valour are one of the few times he works as a team. However, he’s currently in shock after finding that his old boss Matchbox is also onboard, and part of the leadership team.
Snap knows Jackrabbit through her old job in Special Operations, and considers her a sort of friend - not that anyone could ever replace Pinwheel.

Due to constant Powerlinxing with Conure, Snapshot is able to understand her - and also has gained the ability to Powerlinx with other bots.

As an ensemble cast, Valour doesn’t really have a main character, but Snap best fits the bill - when he's around that is.
He's the only character to have a complete arc more or less to himself that isn't some form of flashback (Poor Waltz).
