TW: Sexual assault, attempted murder of a child and child abuse

She grew up as a superhero. Her dad abused her strength but barely ever talked to her or saw her. Her only mission was to punish the people she was forced to fight.

After a while, she met a woman named Lucy. Lucy wasn’t a superhero, but she and Bastet became very good friends. However, Lucy was the girlfriend of one of Bastet’s rivals.

Lucy, unbeknownst to Bastet, was secretly being abused by her boyfriend. Lucy eventually got pregnant one day without her consent and her boyfriend vanished. She told Bastet and the two of them agreed to raise the child together.

Unfortunately, a few years after the child was born, Lucy attempted to drown her daughter. Bastet walked in on the scene of the crime early enough to call the police. Lucy was arrested, and, on top of that, was framed for sexually assaulting her boyfriend.

Lucy was sent to jail and Bastet is now left to raise her kid alone.
She’s not the best at it, but she’s trying.
