Jaden was born to a Hyrulian nobleman, before being stolen in the night by his mother after her husband grew paranoid, accused her of infidelity, and tried to murder Jaden on the assumption that Jaden was not his own.

Jaden, his mother and his brother lived desolate in Hyrule City's slums for many years, barely surviving on what scraps they could. But in secret, Jaden's older brother had spent his mercenary earnings on securing Jaden a place at the University of Magic, ensuring Jaden could study, make connections and forge a path for himself. And the very one that Jaden had stared at longing every day throughout his life after reading stories of Hyrule's deepest magic and those that wielded it.

With Kaiden and his mother also being lifted out of poverty thanks to his mother's new partner, and Kaiden joining the military, Jaden said goodbye and left for the University. An eager study, Jaden spends his days learning all that he can alongside his beloved, Laurel and their pet pig Pigbort.
