Sarafina is Alfundara’s younger daughter, and the one who takes after her mother more. She always hated that Alexandra was the one expected to do everything. After Alfundara was executed, Sarafina took on the role of killing the Alvaran family. Her mother killed Queen Serena, and so Sarafina was going to kill her cousin, Queen Matilda.
