Kami Reace is the main character in ALTered. He is a teenage Neko with teleportation and rift opening abilities and feline abilities like retractable claws and silent step. He Is known for his extremely fast combat style. He is also armed with a host of different tech and weapons from his kitty katana to his AI assistant T.A.B(tabby assistant bot)(she's like cortana from the Halo video games but looks like a tabby cat girl maid with circuitry patterns)
The way and style in which kami teleports is heavily inspired by Tracers “blink” ability in “Overwatch”
The initial idea for Kami is unknown but his development started from a suggestion in a fantasy name generator. His appearance was inspired by my looks in real life.
Kami is also prone to normal cat behaviors(chasing lasers etc). Lyra often uses this to mess around with him.
