Maverick is the main protagonist in my series Midnight Hour. He is the leader of CYCLONE, a villain group centered on mayhem, chaos, and giving back to people who need it. (think Robin Hood, but just more chaotic with explosives.)

When not being a menace to society via committing various crimes as his villain persona, Song Bird. Maverick can be found at his day job at Cyber Sphere Enterprise (a gym company). Or pulling pranks with Juin, working on plans of what places to rob next/what to do next, geeking out to alien movies, and just generally hanging out with the other members of CYCLONE when he has free time.

Maverick is more of a wildcard when it comes to villainy. He is by far (apart from Juin and possibly Rylan) the police's worst nightmare incarnated. He is chaotic by nature and a true menace to society. Which is funny considering the fact that he is basically sunshine incarnated. (he also has sun powers!!)

In their 6-person group dynamic, Maverick is definitely the child who you need to be almost constantly watching. (Juin’s the one who needs to be watched 24/7) He is also not as smart as people think he is, even though he does come up with the plans. Really, he writes down what CYCLONE will do next and then hands that over to Zephyra and Rylan, who finalize it into a practical, concrete plan.

One thing Maverick does not take into account though, is falling in love with the enemy. Claude, a 27 year old police officer, who is also a detective. Everything is fine in the beginning, they secretly meet up to hook up. Keeping their relationship with each other a secret from everyone. However, things change when Claude discovers who Maverick really is. (Maverick has been hiding the fact that he is Song Bird from Claude since their first meeting.)

Turns out Maverick wasn't the only one keeping secrets, and he finds out that Claude is actually a part of the police force. Maverick gets locked up but is broken out by the other members of CYCLONE.
