Was a rogue before stumbling across rosestar (previous leader of riverclan) who adopted ratstar into her clan because of a crush she had on her. Ratstar worked her way up the ranks, dispite the clear disinterest her clan mates had in her, and finally became riverclans leader after rosestars untimely death. Ratstar didnt fully mature until this point and was pretty standoffish and stubborn untill. (Fun fact! Ratstar knows a lot of human slang and doesnt really get clan names so she always goes for a pun name whenever possible
