Nuri Veljrʂor was born in 1964 in Kolkin, Oʂan. He lived in a house with his grandparents, parents, ommers, cousins, and niblings. They lived in one of the coldest regions of Kolkin, where they stayed out in the wilderness to farm Дroknehv, a species of reindeer known for their extremely tall stance, ranging them around 9 ft in height. 

Nuri was recruited to fight in defense of his country in 1978. Though he knew that his job was to fight, he was unprepared for the concept of warfare, and the consequences that followed. 

in 1987 he was pulled into the Phoenix Units, known for their incredible capacity as snipers, though things quickly turned south when they grew traction from the mountains and into the swamps. Failure to perform well and forced company with The Eagles, The Phoenixes were quickly subjected to poor conditions, with some resistance from Canaries. 

After the war ended, Phoenix Units were denied their return home. Nuri remained stuck between the border of Ridgerta and Riger, working under-the-table jobs at the cost of his health through a man named Grant. This continued well into meeting Roxanne, who later on introduced him to Adam, Paul, and Gloria. 

Nuri struggled, but tried, to get along with the group. Paul, however, was completely unwilling, and tension would build. Paul would ultimately attack Nuri, nearly killing him. 

Nuri would remain comatose for several years, during this time Frank, a former Canary, would discover Nuri's location nearby. He would encourage recovery, help Nuri seek community, and recover. This was not guaranteed success, however, as war leaves lasting scars. 

Nuri would refuse to give up his language. He suffers from many phobias. His sense of self is shattered, and is unable to function completely in day-to-day life. 

Nuri's main diet in Oʂan was fermented meats, cooked grains, preservatives, dried/frozen meat, and root vegetables. He has one daughter, who he does not know exists. 

He's satisfied living with Frank.
