Foxstride tries to blend into the background of camp life most days. He can plaster a pleased smile on his face at will, and follow it up with a smooth conversation. Though, some days he seems to be quite grouchy, assumedly from lingering pain from his injuries. Only his family is really able to get close to Foxstride, and see who he really is underneath the facade he puts up.

Foxstride tries to keep to himself, hunting and patrolling the grounds closer to camp on his own, despite the constant offer of his older sister Weepingwisp offering to go with. He doesn’t like to be babied, preferring for others to focus on the needs of cats younger or much older than he is. He doesn’t want his injuries to make any cat look down on him for being lesser, or make them think that he needs help. He won't take it if it's offered. But, successful hunts will make him walk back into camp with his held high with the fresh-kill he caught, as if to prove to anyone doubting him he’s just as capable as they are. However, despite his independence, he will not travel near RiverClan borders by himself.

Foxstride, underneath it all, is quite paranoid and jumpy. He’s terrified of his family leaving him behind, like how Tawnysun, his mother, did. He’s terrified of never being enough, or not meeting expectations. He’s always checking around trees and corners for threats that aren’t there.
