Kalen is a Resistance pilot who joined the Resistance shortly after the First Order occupation of Batuu.

They didn't like the Resistance being there at first, but they hated the First Orders presence there even more. They joined up at the convincing of Vi Moradi and the legend Poe Dameron himself.

They are force sensitive but they don't like to acknowledge it. They do like lightsabers though. They spent a bit of time training with Leia on the force sensitivity thing in order to make sure it couldn't be turned against them.
