Cypher is the lone guardian of the digital realm, often jumping in and out of the real world just to observe and mess with people.

Due to a massive war that broke out due to the unstable and corrupted hierarchy, they are the last survivor of their kind who have long been "extinct". They also proclaim themselves as the "protector" of the digital realm, hunting down and exterminating rogue viruses that now roam what remains of the realm.

But, unbeknownst to them, they were once a (now deceased) human who's conscience and mind was transferred the digital realm, now trapped for eternity.
