Oh man, this one's a doozy.

Muffin was taken in by the Ringmaster after getting lost at the circus as a small child. Their parents never came searching for them, unfortunately, but the Ringmaster raised them like a loving parent. Until they began acting up.

Muffin quickly learned that they did not belong at the circus, no matter how hard the others convinced them otherwise. They have the most escape attempts of any other employee, landing them in the most trouble and leading them to be under the most watch from the Ringmaster.

They ended up misbehaving so much that the Ringmaster had their face cut open so they would permanently smile for the audience. It's always happy here, right Muffin?
