Violette Gothique, also known as “SourPunk,” is an 18-year-old 11th-grade student in Corbeille Fruits Academy’s Arts Club. A human Latina with purple hair, green eyes, tan skin, a curvy build, and a nose bridge piercing, Violette stands out with her bold punk, gothic, and emo-inspired style.

Violette is a confident force to be reckoned with. She's blunt, edgy, competitive, and often gives people a terrible first impression, but those who earn her trust discover her surprisingly sweet, loyal, and protective side. She has a secret sweet tooth and loves alternative rock, art, fashion, and winning.

As one of the top five Arts students, Violette specializes in oil painting. Her artwork is bold, bright, emotional, and unapologetic, often exploring edgy subjects like caution tape, police imagery, risky themes, or whatever emotion she wants to express. Despite her intense style, she's also capable of creating breathtaking landscapes that surprise everyone who sees them. She occasionally paints murals and teaches other students sewing and fashion techniques.

Violette was held back one year after getting into a fight with other students, resulting in a three-month suspension. She doesn't care about being older than her classmates—in fact, she's happy to have another year to create art. The experience only pushed her further into her passion.

Her biggest rival is the current #1 Arts student. Violette hopes to surpass her artistic competition, build a name for herself, and eventually enter the fashion industry, combining her love of art, design, and sewing.

She may be a bitter grape, but underneath all that sourness is someone much sweeter than she lets on. 🍇
