She is in the same universe as Quinn and Princess Waterpeak. When she was orginally made, she was a kindergarden teacher, but evil? It didn’t make any sense. But, when Quinn traveled through realms and first appeared in equestria, Rosette found her. Rosette was the one who took Quinn back to the castle along with an escort of guards to present her to the queen. Originally, her name was Symphony. She does not play and instrument and has no talent tied to music. I think with the whole evil kindergarden teacher thing and the incorrect name, she was probably meant to be a side character but was forced to be a main character by younger me. If you look at her old design, it’s so boring. Easily a forgettable background character. I do remember that I made her a lesbian though because she is dating Princess Waterpeak. So, Rosette was a scholar of the queen and mainly hung out with Princess Waterpeak’s younger sister. When the two of them were finally introduced and set up to be together by Princess Waterpeak’s younger sister, they finally started dating after a few months. Rosette is a powerful pony skilled in magic though it doesn’t appear that way. Rosette pratically lives in the palace with the royal faimly and is well respected and known by the public. Since she has a reputation and puts herself together well, she doesn’t look like much of a nerd or bookworm. That was all her classmates knew her for as a filly and she was never really interested in friends. But when she was an adult mare, she started making her way up in the ranks of education revolving around magic. The queen has other magic scholars, but Rosette is more well known. She is a naturally charmer but still does not long for conections with ponies like when she was a filly. She was a scholar of the Queen herself and she had one friend which was her youngest heir. One friend was enough, right? But in Rosette and Waterpeaks relationship, Waterpeak taught Rosette to be more open to other friends.
